About B. R. Moore Construction Company
B. R. Moore Construction Company has been owned and operated in the Atlanta, Georgia, area since our company was founded by B. R. Moore in 1967. B. R. (Bill) founded the company on the principles of honesty, integrity, and fairness and treated every customer with the respect deserved by a good friend. His philosophy in dealing with others - including his employees - was to "err on the side of generosity." Upon Mr. Moore's passing in 2005, the company was acquired by Hoyt Dodd who worked with Bill for many years and who himself has a background in railroading spanning a 20 year career with Norfolk-Southern Corporation. Retaining all employees at that time, Hoyt has continued to build the company on the fine traditions of service and quality workmanship established by Mr. Moore in industrial railroad sidetrack new construction, maintenance, and removal.
